Travel Electrophysiology Lab Technologist – Washington, DC Start Date: No later than November 3, 2025 A nationally recognized teaching hospital and one of the top 50 heart and vascular centers in the country is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Lab Technologist to join its dynamic cardiovascular team in Washington, DC. Position Details Shift:
36 hours/week, Day/Evening
07:00–17:00 or 11:00–21:00 Two to three late case coverage days per week
No on-call, weekend, or floating requirements Scrubs provided Flu vaccination required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of EP Lab clinical experience First-time travelers accepted with required EP experience Must hold active certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CCI RCES or RCIS Preferred certifications: ARRT, Fluoro Permit Required Skills and Experience Cerner charting system Hemodynamic monitoring and ablation procedures EKG interpretation across inpatient and outpatient settings Equipment: Philips and Siemens X-Ray machines, GE Micropacer Procedures: EP studies, tilt tests, cardioversion, loop recorders, ablations (atrial flutter/fibrillation, SVT, VT), device implants and extractions Preferred Skills and Equipment 3D mapping systems (Biosense, Abbott/ESI) Ultrasound systems (ViewMate, Siemens, GE) Laser lead extraction, groin closure devices, peripheral procedures Experience in trauma or pediatric hospital settings Facility Overview Short Term Acute Care Teaching Hospital 748 staffed beds Daily caseload: approximately 18 cases Systems: Cerner, GE Cardiolab, Pyxis About The Judge Group
