Automation Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Multi Craft Maintenance Technician with extensive experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines. The ideal candidate will handle automation machine tool electrical maintenance, working on a variety of CNC equipment including CNC mills, CNC machining centers, and robotics. You will work with over 35 OEM machine brands and handle equipment such as P&H cranes/hoists, conveyors, furnaces, large part washers, ABB robots, and CNC machine tools. Additionally, you will be responsible for repairing CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from brands like Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon. Key tasks include troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems. Responsibilities

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair CNC machines. Perform electrical maintenance on automation machine tools. Work with a variety of CNC equipment and robotics. Repair CNC and PLC equipment with controllers from brands like Fanuc, Siemens, and Modicon. Troubleshoot and repair AC/DC analog and digital drives, sensors, cables, wiring, drive faults, encoders, and 480V systems. Connect laptops to machines for diagnostics and troubleshooting. Use MMS system to generate work orders and log maintenance performed. Prioritize machinery repairs based on the value stream of the equipment. Essential Skills

Ability to troubleshoot and repair CNC equipment independently. Experience with electrical troubleshooting through HMI-alter programs. Controls experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell, and Fanuc. Proficiency in troubleshooting PLC controls by going online and editing latter logic. Knowledge of glass scale linear encoders. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Certified Electrician. Associate Degree in Industrial Automation. Experience with machine brands such as Mazak, DMG, Landis, Orbital, Junker, WFL, Giddings & Lewis, Proceco, and Fives. Why Work Here?

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. This is a fully onsite position in Detroit, MI.
