About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Strategic Relationships to join our team. This inspiring leader will play a crucial role in expanding our employee benefits business line, driving growth and establishing impactful strategic relationships within the group benefits arena. This position is vital to our mission of providing protection and peace of mind to our customers, especially as we adapt to the increasing demand for paid family medical leave and state-mandated disability programs.
The Vice President will manage and inspire a high-performing team, develop robust strategic frameworks, and engage with national broker firms, general agencies, PEOs, carrier partners, and payroll firms to accelerate growth and cultivate enduring partnerships. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the insurance or employee benefits sector, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
This role requires expertise in organizational, time management, and multitasking skills, complemented by exceptional communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, provide strategic executive reporting, and foster cross-functional collaboration. A data-driven mindset, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and a proven history of leveraging technology to boost sales performance are essential. The perfect candidate will have an in-depth understanding of large trading firms, the needs of executive-level clients, and performance reporting. You should excel at influencing cross-functional teams to meet and exceed business objectives.
