E&I Technician
Smurfit Westrock Sawmill in Cottonton Al is looking to fill an open position for an E&I Technician, we are looking for someone who can meet the following requirements:
3-5 years industrial E&I experience or
2-4 years industrial E&I certificate/diploma from accredited school
Ability to work safely / understands Lock out / Tag out
Ability to interpret electrical and instrumentation schematics and drawings
Ability to use electrical test equipment, multi meter, megger, amp probe
Good understanding of PLCs and ladder logic
Trouble shoot electrical issues independently
Familiar with 480v 3 phase motor starters
Ability to trouble shoot 240v, 120v, and 24v circuits
Good understanding of hydraulic systems and the ability to troubleshoot
Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives
Available to work overtime and 3rd shift
Pass written testing requirements
High School Diploma or GED
