Summary

The Procurement Manager will spearhead the development of bid packages and manage the procurement process for data center projects. Responsibilities include crafting comprehensive bid packages, analyzing proposals, negotiating with suppliers, and managing purchase order approvals. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of procurement experience, with a background in data center projects and a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field. Strong financial analysis skills and familiarity with contracts and negotiation terms are essential. Additionally, the candidate should demonstrate proficiency in project management and the ability to cultivate long-term relationships with key suppliers. Primary Responsibilities

Lead development of bid packages for scope including a statement of work, pricing matrix, and to facilitate RFP activity including RFP development, transmitting to invited suppliers, facilitating site tours, and coordinating answers to supplier questions.

Compare proposals for price and specifications and negotiate with suppliers to reduce costs.

Lead the purchase order approval process for associated scope.

Perform financial analysis and business case justification for proposals to award to clients.

Support contract negotiations with external partners.

Create written proposals for priority opportunities and drive procurement agreements to contract execution.

Manage the company's purchasing process and policy for data center electrical and mechanical equipment.

Build and maintain long-term relationships with critical suppliers.

Perform other miscellaneous related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

3+ years of procurement experience

3+ years of work experience in Data Center Projects ( but not required)

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Procurement, Business Admin, Engineering or a related field, and 5+ years of related experience

In-depth knowledge of contracts, Invoicing, and negotiation terms

Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and the flexibility to handle multiple competing priorities.

Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment used in Data Centers.
