Job Title: Special Procedure Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 year License: State licensed Certifications: ARRT (R), ARRT (VI) or (CI), BLS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred. Experience with Epic EHR preferred. Experience in community hospital settings preferred. Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Special Procedure Technologist to join our dynamic Imaging Services team. This role involves performing complex diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, including angiography and venography, utilizing specialized equipment. Proficiency with Siemens imaging equipment is highly preferred. The technologist will be responsible for patient preparation and positioning. Equipment operation and maintenance will be part of the responsibilities. Contrast media administration is a key component of the role. The technologist will monitor patients during procedures. Accurate record-keeping is essential for this position. Adherence to radiation safety protocols is required. Excellent technical and communication skills are necessary. The ability to work independently and collaboratively is important. A strong commitment to patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment is essential. Experience with a variety of interventional procedures including Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Drainages, Biopsies, PICCs, Permcath Insertion, Port Insertions, Lumbar Puncture, Arthrogram, Angiography, and Pacemaker Insertion is beneficial. No weekends or call requirements are associated with this position. Special equipment experience includes Siemens Artis ZEE.
