Join the Coinbase Developer Platform (CDP) team, where we're transforming the development landscape for onchain technology. We focus on creating powerful API and SDK products for essential developer tools, including wallets, paymaster solutions, staking, stablecoins, and onchain data services. In this role, you will lead engineering initiatives for an innovative agentic payments protocol, paving the way for unparalleled economic value on the internet. Your expertise in blockchain transactions, APIs, and developer experience will be vital as you contribute to open standards, develop backend APIs, and create client SDKs.
Responsibilities
Develop open protocols for internet agentic payments.
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance CDP offerings.
Create server and client libraries that deliver an exceptional developer experience.
What We Look for in You (Qualifications)
Experience constructing blockchain transactions with frameworks such as Viem, Web3py, Allow, or go-ethereum.
Proven track record of shipping and scaling TypeScript and Go services in production environments.
At least 3 years of industry experience as a software developer.
Nice to Have
Understanding of EVM or SVM blockchains.
Experience in building open-source libraries.
Familiarity with AI agents and LLMs.
Experience taking projects from conception to implementation.

Pay Transparency Notice: The target annual salary for this position varies by location. Full-time offers from Coinbase include a target bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
Pay Range: $180,065 - $218,900 USD
