Job Summary:
Our food production facility is seeking an experienced
Sanitation Supervisor
to lead and oversee all sanitation operations. This role is responsible for managing sanitation staff, maintaining inventory, and ensuring compliance with
SSOPs ,
HACCP , and all
local and federal food safety regulations . The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and product quality.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate daily sanitation activities and staff schedules. Ensure compliance with
Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
and
HACCP
guidelines. Monitor and maintain sanitation supplies and chemical inventory. Train and coach team members on safe and effective cleaning practices. Inspect and verify that all equipment and areas meet food safety and quality standards. Document sanitation procedures, cleaning schedules, and verification records. Collaborate with production and quality assurance to resolve sanitation-related issues. Safely handle and apply cleaning agents, disinfectants, and other chemicals. Requirements:
Proven experience in a
food production
or
manufacturing sanitation
role, with supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of
HACCP ,
SSOPs , and food safety regulations. Familiarity with the safe use and storage of sanitation chemicals. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support production schedules.
