Work Environment
This position operates in a retail environment that may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. The role may require weekend availability and flexibility to meet store needs.
Key Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs to provide assistance and information on product features. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate benefits and features to customers. Assist in achieving sales goals by actively promoting products and upselling when appropriate. Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, clean, and visually appealing to enhance the customer shopping experience. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions and escalating issues when necessary. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive, mission-driven work environment. Participate in inventory management, including restocking shelves and conducting inventory counts. Support promotional activities and special events to drive customer engagement and sales. Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all safety and security standards. Qualifications
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Experience in a retail environment is highly desirable Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
