Join us for the annual MLK Day of Service at Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park.
Location:
Throughout Hal and Berni Hanson Regional Park Volunteer Roles Needed: Natural Resource Management : Remove invasive plant species throughout the park. Garden Preparation : Prepare the Demonstration Garden for Spring 2026 by adding compost to the soil. Disc Golf Maintenance : Control erosion, pick up trash, and clear debris from the course. Trail Maintenance : Line the trails with logs and ensure all paths are clear and accessible. Trash Pick Up : Remove litter throughout the park.

independently Whether you're a seasoned volunteer or joining us for the first time, we’d love to have you be part of this joyful day. Let’s make it unforgettable—for the kids and for you! What to Wear Family fair appropriate clothing. Dress for the weather, this is an outside event. What to Bring: Volunteers are encouraged to bring
water, sunscreen, hats, and personal items
as needed. Groups: We love when groups get involved! Please make sure that everyone in your group joins separately to volunteer. Commitment: Please commit to the opportunities you sign up for. If you cannot make it, please unregister from CERVIS as soon as possible. Multiple no-shows may result in account inactivation. We ask that you respect the time and effort of our team, our partners and fellow volunteers by avoiding last-minute unregistering.
