A leading specialty metals manufacturer is seeking a

Quality Assurance Manager

to oversee and enhance the Quality Management System at its Bridgeville, PA, facility.

This position is responsible for ensuring that all quality systems, processes, and certifications meet or exceed regulatory, customer, and industry requirements.

The Quality Assurance Manager will lead continuous improvement efforts, oversee audits, manage corrective actions, and collaborate across departments to uphold the company's reputation for producing premium specialty steel products.

About the Facility This operation is a cornerstone of a

world-class specialty steel manufacturer , producing advanced nickel alloy, stainless steel, and low-alloy materials that serve critical markets including

aerospace, power generation, oil & gas, and heavy equipment .

The facility features

state-of-the-art melting, refining, and finishing capabilities , ensuring precision and consistency across all production stages. As part of a global network of specialty steel plants, Bridgeville plays a key role in supporting innovation, quality, and continuous improvement across the organization's operations.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, or a related technical discipline required. Minimum of 10 years of

quality management experience

in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of quality systems and certifications including

ISO 9001, AS9100, Nadcap (Heat Treating & Materials Testing), and ISO/IEC 17025 . Proven experience with

quality auditing, nonconformance evaluation, and corrective action systems . Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration. Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality data systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Committed to precision, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

Lead and maintain plant quality systems to ensure compliance with AS9100, Nadcap, and other applicable standards. Oversee internal and supplier audits, ensuring findings are documented, addressed, and resolved. Support training and development programs to reinforce quality awareness and system compliance. Evaluate nonconformances and customer returns to identify trends and implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate customer and third-party quality audits and act as the primary liaison for quality-related communications. Support interdepartmental and inter-plant collaboration to strengthen quality consistency and performance. Provide input and oversight in receiving inspection, in-process inspection, final inspection, and calibration control systems. Develop and maintain documentation, processes, and metrics aligned with continuous improvement objectives. Benefits
