Job Overview:

In addition to meeting the basic standards of Certified Surgical Technologist, the CST Team Leader is expected to role model and exceed the Standards of Performance. In conjunction with the RN Team Leader, s/he is to assume the accountability for care delivered on a specific unit. The CST Team Leader assists with orientation of staff members, participates in evaluating their performance, and provides continuing education. Assists the RN Team Leader in planning and managing the resources necessary for the delivery of patient care in the specified area.

Required: Certifications/Licenses/Education:

Surgical Technologist Certification Required.
