About The Position Job Title: MRI Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Technology Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours (12:00 PM - 10:30 PM) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Must possess applicable state license Certifications: ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT required; BLS required Must-Have: Must have ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification in hand to submit. Siemens equipment experience is required. Description: The MRI Tech will work on a full-time basis in a dynamic environment. Scheduled shifts consist of four 10-hour days, typically from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM. There will be rotating days off during the week. The position may require working one Saturday each month if needed. Participation in holiday coverage may also be required on a rotating basis. Preferred skills include experience with outpatient and inpatient cases in areas such as abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, breast, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging. Knowledge of advanced imaging techniques, such as CINE, Diffusion, Gradient Echo Imaging, and Image Post-Processing, is highly valued. Applicants should have experience with various MRI procedures, including, but not limited to, T-1/T-2 weighted images and peripheral magnetic resonance. The facility operates several Siemens scanners, including Espree, Trio, Aera, Skyra, Sola, and Vida. Candidates may be required to float between departments or facilities as needed based on patient care demands. This role offers the opportunity to work in a teaching environment, providing care to a diverse patient population. Experience with electronic medical records is preferred. The facility is equipped to handle a variety of patient diagnoses, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Qualified candidates must demonstrate adherence to safety protocols and contribute to a positive work environment.
