OB/GYN Ultrasound Technician - McKenzie Obstetrics & Gynecology
Position Details: Hourly Base Rate: $38.25 - $58.60 Shift Hours Per Week: 40 hours Date Posted: 10/17/2025 Job Summary:
Performs obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound exams (transabdominal, transvaginal, and 3D/4D as applicable). Capture and document images per physician order and established protocols. Assess fetal growth, amniotic fluid, placenta location, and other key prenatal parameters. Identify and document any abnormal findings for physician review. Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper calibration and infection control. Support provider workflow by uploading images and completing EMR documentation. Provider professional and compassionate patient communication and education. Qualifications:
Completion of accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program. ARDMS certification in OB/GYN (required or obtained within 12 months of hire). Current BLS certification. Minimum 1-2 years OB/GYN imaging experience preferred. Knowledge of fetal anatomy, reproductive imaging, and ultrasound safety standards.
