Business Operations & Compliance Manager - Decentralized Finance

Location: Remote - Preference for NYC - Will accept Remote USA working EST hours

Compensation: $129K - $150K

We build technology that makes markets safer and more accessible in the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Our risk management systems, oracles, and AI models secure billions in value and are trusted by leading protocols like Aave, GMX, dYdX, and others. We are seeking a talented

Business Operations & Compliance Manager

to join our team and help shape the future of decentralized finance, reporting directly to the VP of Business Operations.

You will be the key owner of our global compliance and security posture, designing and implementing policies to reduce risk and support sustainable growth in a high-growth technology environment. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring you to partner with technical, business, and legal teams to embed operational excellence across the organization.

Responsibilities: Lead Compliance & Security Programs:

Own the design, implementation, and ongoing management of global compliance initiatives (e.g.,

SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS ), including leading audits, certifications, and risk management efforts. Build and Enforce Internal Policies:

Develop, maintain, and scale security, compliance, and operational policies across the organization, ensuring consistency and accountability at a global scale. Oversee Vendor & Contract Management:

Manage vendor selection, procurement, onboarding, and contract processes, ensuring alignment with compliance and security requirements. Enable Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner effectively with technical, business, and legal teams to embed compliance and security best practices into daily operations and strategic initiatives. Drive Process Excellence:

Lead company-wide initiatives that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and support sustainable growth. Requirements

Experience:

3-4 years

of experience in

business operations, compliance, or security program management

within a technology company. Compliance Expertise:

Strong knowledge of major

compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS)

and hands-on experience leading or managing audits and certifications. Policy & Process:

Proven ability to

design, implement, and enforce internal policies

and drive program management excellence. Vendor Management:

Strong background in vendor management, procurement, and contracts. Soft Skills:

Excellent

organizational and communication skills , with a passion for security, operational excellence, and emerging technologies like blockchain and DeFi. Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

Familiarity with

blockchain, smart contracts, and/or DeFi protocols . Experience working in

high-growth technology companies or startups . Demonstrated ability to

scale compliance and security programs

in fast-paced, global environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with comfort driving cross-functional initiatives. Location:

Based in NYC (Brooklyn office) or able to work remotely in the USA with

up to 30% travel

for in-person collaboration. Benefits
