Material Control Specialist

Join our team as a Material Control Specialist in the Shipping/Receiving department of a heavy industrial facility. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving all metal and related parts for assembly, performing cycle counts, and staging products through production. The position requires frequent lifting and loading of materials weighing 50-75 pounds and involves material handling throughout the day. You will also occasionally operate a sit-down forklift and may be required to use a table grinder to smooth metals for production. Packaging, wrapping, and labeling products for shipment are key tasks. Responsibilities

Receive all metal and related parts for assembly. Perform cycle counts and manage inventory control. Stage products through production efficiently. Operate a sit-down forklift as needed. Lift and load materials weighing 50-75 pounds. Use a table grinder to grind and smooth metals. Package, wrap, and label products for shipment. Maintain organizational and analytical skills in inventory management. Essential Skills

Experience with inventory, production, shipping, and receiving. Knowledge in packaging, staging, palletizing, wrapping, and warehousing. Proficient in Excel data entry. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to lift 75 pounds consistently. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Manufacturing experience is preferred. Warehouse experience with heavy labor is acceptable. Forklift experience is a plus. Experience in inventory control and cycle counts. Mechanical inclination is beneficial. Experience working with metal is advantageous. Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
