Maintenance Technician

Banyan Living, a leader in luxury apartment management, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. We operate several properties throughout the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas, providing exceptional living experiences for our residents. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition and safety of our apartment communities. Your technical skills and customer service orientation will ensure that our residents enjoy a comfortable and well-maintained living environment. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartments, common areas, and building structures. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies from residents. Conduct inspections to identify necessary repairs and maintenance tasks. Assist in the preparation of vacant units for new tenants. Maintain the grounds, including landscaping and snow removal, as needed. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1-2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a residential setting. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC maintenance. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 pounds). Willingness to be on-call for emergencies as needed.
