Position Summary: The Purchasing Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring efficient procurement and inventory management to support the company's operations. This position requires a strategic thinker with experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships for materials, equipment, and supplies related to landscape installation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Strategy Development:

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals, ensuring cost-effective and timely sourcing of materials and equipment. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Vendor Management:

Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure high-quality products and services. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure favorable agreements for the company.

Inventory Management:

Oversee inventory levels to ensure availability of materials while minimizing waste and excess. Collaborate with project managers to forecast material needs for upcoming projects.

Collaboration Across Teams:

Work closely with operations, project management, and maintenance teams to understand project timelines and requirements. Coordinate deliveries to meet project schedules and avoid delays.

Budget Oversight and Reporting:

Monitor procurement budgets and provide regular reports on spending, cost savings, and vendor performance. Identify areas for financial improvement and implement strategies to optimize costs.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the landscape or construction industry. Strong negotiation and communication skills with a track record of securing favorable agreements. Ability to analyze data, forecast needs, and manage budgets effectively. Familiarity with materials, equipment, and suppliers in the landscape and maintenance sectors is highly desirable. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities. What We Offer:
