The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of subcontractors for construction, engineering, and other specialized services, ensuring cost-effective sourcing, compliance, and high-quality performance. This is a strategic and hands-on position, ideal for a results-oriented professional with a strong understanding of subcontractor management, negotiation, and supply chain processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Subcontractor Sourcing & Selection:Identify, evaluate, and onboard subcontractors for various projects, ensuring the selection of the best-fit partners based on quality, cost, and reliability.

Contract Negotiation:Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with subcontractors, ensuring competitive and cost-effective agreements are reached while maintaining compliance with company policies.

Risk Management:Assess risks associated with subcontractor performance, compliance, and safety. Develop mitigation strategies and ensure subcontractors adhere to regulatory standards and company requirements.

Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with subcontractors, managing performance and resolving any issues that arise during project execution.

Compliance & Documentation:Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and industry standards. Maintain thorough records of subcontractor contracts, documentation, and performance reviews.

Cost Management:Oversee budgeting for subcontractor procurement, monitor cost control processes, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.

Reporting & Analysis:Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement activities, including subcontractor performance, cost savings, and potential risks.

Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, operations teams, and other departments to ensure seamless procurement and execution of subcontracted services.

Qualifications:

Experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

Experience in subcontractor procurement or construction procurement, with a proven track record in sourcing and managing subcontractors.

Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and industry best practices.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Familiarity with construction and safety standards, as well as regulatory requirements, is highly preferred.

Experience working with construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
