Job Description

The Quality Manager - Automotive Manufacturing will be responsible for the following:

Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements. Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues. Manage and mentor the quality team, including quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians. Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection processes to ensure product compliance with specifications. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design for manufacturability and quality. Conduct internal audits and support external audits from customers and certification bodies. Monitor and report on key quality metrics, including scrap rates, customer complaints, and process capability Drive continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and FMEA. Ensure compliance with automotive regulatory standards and customer requirements. Manage supplier quality performance and development. The Successful Applicant

The ideal Quality Manager - Automotive Manufacturing will have the following qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality management within the automotive manufacturing industry. Strong background in precision machining, tight tolerance components, and metrology. Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Six Sigma Belt, or equivalent certification preferred. Proficient in quality tools and software (e.g., Minitab, SPC, APQP, PPAP, 8D). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
