Manage and develop a cohesive regional accounting team across multiple locations. This is to include goal and objective setting as well as the provision for appropriate training.

Lead the annual compliance statement initiative on internal controls for the group. Additionally, coordinate and review the annual self-assessment for all locations in the region and ensure compliance with SGC and EPG policies and procedures

Manage the timely completion of the month-end financial close as well as the timely and accurate execution of all reporting requirements.

Develop, prepare, and/or direct the completion of all post-close financial analyses for both local and Group management. Emphasis will be placed on the Commercial business unit.

Direct the preparation of the annual operating budget for facilities within the region, ensuring the accuracy of all budget data and proactively challenging any/all budget assumptions.

Prepare and/or coordinate analysis to better understand the financial ramifications of current and proposed business actions

Partner with operational management to increase plant efficiency and profitability within the region

Identify and proactively initiate analyses / solutions to plant issues within the region

Support the analytical needs of the VP Finance and Group Controller, Director Industrial Controlling, Manager of Cost & Financial Analysis, VP of Operations and Sr Director Regional Operations.

Review Six Sigma charters and audits of completed projects, ensuring the integrity of the calculations and results

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance , CPA, CMA, or MBA preferable.

Minimum 8-10 years of progressive cost accounting and analysis experience with a major manufacturing organization. A strong emphasis should be put on knowledge of management accounting, cost and inventory accounting, and GAAP

A minimum of 5 years at a supervisory level is required as this individual will be responsible for managing several people across multiple sites.

Strong analytical skills are required to quickly grasp issues impacting the region's financial results

Strong IT aptitude to deliver effective desktop reporting (paperless web-enabled environment), utilize business warehouse tools and MS Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and presentations

Excellent communication and presentation skills are required

Capable of leading a process team and able to define clear vision, goals, and service standards

Ability to manage projects, direct and manage individuals, work independently, and communicate effectively to all areas and levels of the EPG organization

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across plant and functional organizations.

Demonstrated client service orientation
