PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled
Electrical/Electronic Technician
to join a precision electronics team in
Minneapolis, MN . This role supports the fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of
micro and nano electronic products
and related support systems in a lab environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with cutting-edge technologies in support of aerospace and defense applications.
Note:
Candidates must be
U.S. Citizens
and
eligible to obtain a Secret security clearance .
Key Responsibilities:
Perform precise fabrication, assembly, testing, inspection, and rework of micro/nano electronic components and systems Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment to conduct diagnostics and generate test report data Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and follow detailed instructions Support prototype builds as well as low-rate production in a lab environment Maintain a safe and compliant work environment aligned with established safety and quality policies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet design, quality, and delivery objectives Required Skills & Experience:
Proficiency using
electronic test equipment , electrical assembly tools, and common hand tools Ability to read
electrical/mechanical schematics and sketches Excellent
fine motor skills
for precision electronic work with near-zero defect tolerance High mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Familiarity with
J-STD-001
or similar standards 2-year technical degree
OR
a minimum of 2 years of hands-on technician experience in a
production or prototype
setting Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team U.S. Citizenship is required to meet clearance eligibility Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with
Cirris
or other Automated Test Equipment Troubleshooting skills for electronic and electrical systems Knowledge or certification in
IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 ,
IPC-610 Class 3 , or
J-STD-001 Ability to provide constructive feedback to support design and process improvements Additional Information:
A skills evaluation will be conducted as part of the interview process Position is full-time and onsite in
Minneapolis, MN Clearance Requirement: Must be eligible for a
U.S. Secret Security Clearance
