Job Summary

As a Level II Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting manufacturing operations by ensuring the reliability and maintainability of equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyor systems, and other production machinery, and be a key member of process improvement and problem-solving teams. Your expertise will contribute to the sustainable operation of machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using logical and systematic methodologies. Install and perform alignment on mechanical drive systems. Complete all assigned preventive tasks including major service and overhaul. Replace identified failed parts or components. Adjust equipment to bring it into operational specifications. Maintain machinery lubrication requirements. Recommend process or procedure changes based on observed equipment behavior. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices. Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring and components. Maintain current and accurate maintenance data. Train and mentor junior technicians and operators. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Required

Strong mechanical and electrical background. Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CMMS). Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals. Understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. Familiarity with normal shop equipment such as drill press and band saw. Ability to read and interpret precision measuring devices. Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Education / Professional Experience

High school graduate or equivalent. 2-year Technical Degree desired. Minimum of 5 years of industrial manufacturing experience or comparable skills demonstration. Licenses / Certifications

Successful completion of certification testing. Additional Information

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US. Visa sponsorship is not available. Must be willing and able to complete an online assessment test lasting 2 to 2.5 hours. Ability to meet the physical requirements of working safely in an industrial maintenance environment.
