Senior Billing Specialist - Washington, DC (Hybrid Remote)
Location:
Washington, DC
Salary:
$90,000-$105,000/year
Schedule:
Full-time | Hybrid Remote
What You'll Do Monitor unbilled inventory and ensure timely invoice processing Prepare monthly and transactional billing reports for attorney review Ensure invoices align with client guidelines and rate agreements Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams to resolve billing issues Process billing adjustments, write-offs, and transfers Coordinate with E-Billing Specialists for accurate invoice submission Maintain billing records and ensure audit-readiness Report regularly to management on billing status Contribute to special projects and process improvements •
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of billing experience in a law firm or government contracting environment Minimum 5 years of legal billing experience; Aderant experience is preferred but not required Strong Excel proficiency and attention to detail Experience navigating compliance-heavy billing protocols Professional, diplomatic communication skills
