Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Material Handler to join our growing team. You will be responsible for picking production kits, receiving, distributing, and storing products in secure locations. Your role will include reviewing incoming materials for accuracy, resolving any issues with Production and Purchasing, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities

Pick production kits as per requirements.

Receive, distribute, and store products in designated secure locations.

Review and verify the accuracy of incoming materials and accompanying documents.

Transport and load materials and supplies manually or using hand trucks and skids.

Resolve issues with Production and Purchasing when problems arise.

Collect and properly dispose of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping.

Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Inventory management skills.

Proficient in picking and packing.

General labor and production experience.

Loading and unloading skills.

Ability to operate a pallet jack.

Shipping knowledge.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westmont, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
