Job Summary: The Corporate Training & Development Manager is responsible for designing and implementing corporate-wide training initiatives, with a primary focus on leadership and management development programs. This role directly supervises the Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator and the Training Coordinator, ensuring effective administration, coordination, and tracking of all corporate training activities. The manager will align all programs with strategic business goals and foster a culture of professional growth. This position reports to the Enterprise Training & Development Director .

This position is an on-site role, not eligible for fully remote.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Corporate Training and Leadership Development Program Management

Design and implement a comprehensive leadership development program for current managers and supervisors and emerging leaders, ensuring alignment with senior leader guidance

Work with leadership and company stakeholders to identify and assess non-technical skill gaps, creating development programs that enhance employee leadership capabilities and support company growth

Facilitate workshops, sessions, and seminars focused on key management skills and competencies

Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership programs through performance metrics and feedback, recommending and making continuous improvements to content and delivery

Coordinate with other HR teams and company departments to manage the corporate new-hire orientation and onboarding programs, effectively integrating new employees into the company culture

Collaborate with department heads to identify and address corporate training needs by creating or curating training courses, modules, and learning plans

Assist the Director in managing the departmental budget for corporate training, selecting and managing external training vendors as needed

LMS and Training Coordination Management

Supervise the LMS Administrator, ensuring the LMS is properly maintained, configured, and optimized for course delivery, record-keeping, and reporting

Supervise the Training Coordinator to ensure all logistical aspects of training—including scheduling, materials preparation, and communication—are handled efficiently

Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all training records within the LMS, providing reports to leadership on key training performance metrics (e.g., compliance, completions, and impact)

Monitor, review, and approve employee time corrections in a timely manner

Qualified Candidates Will Have:

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, business administration, or a related field

3–7 years of experience in a corporate training role, with a proven track record of designing and implementing leadership development programs

Experience using, navigating, and managing courses within an LMS

Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of how to apply adult learning principles in instructional design and training methodologies (e-learning, instructor-led, hybrid)

Excellent leadership, communication, and facilitation skills

Proficiency in project management and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously

Ability to work self-directed and closely with a cross functional team

Ability to develop and manage detailed training materials

Strong organizational and computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office programs

Ability to be successful in a fast-paced, flexible working environment with tight deadlines

Exceptional Candidates Will Have:

Experience directly managing an LMS (ideally Docebo) and supervising administrative staff

Experience creating eLearning modules with L&D industry software (Articulate, Camtasia, etc.)

Advanced degree in education, adult learning, instructional design, or related field

Experience in a regulated industry, such as aviation

Prior experience leading a training and development team
