We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable

Title Clerk

to join our team.

The Title Clerk is responsible for accurately processing vehicle titles and registrations, ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, and maintaining proper records.

This role is essential to the smooth operation of our sales and finance departments.

Responsibilities

Process all new and used vehicle titles and registrations

Prepare and submit necessary documents to the DMV in a timely manner

Verify accuracy of all title documents and resolve title discrepancies

Maintain a current knowledge of state titling laws and procedures

Assist customers, banks, and sales staff with title and registration inquiries

Track and file all title paperwork

Process trade-in titles and payoff documentation

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Title Clerk in an automotive dealership preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Working knowledge of state motor vehicle title registrations

Ability to handle confidential information professionally

Proficient with computers and dealership management systems

Excellent communication and customer service skills
