Assemblix LLC is now hiring for Senior Mainteance Technicians!

Position Summary:

The Senior Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing all conveyor systems and related electrical and mechanical equipment. This position ensures equipment reliability, supports continuous improvement efforts, and assists in training and mentoring other technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment problems and breakdowns.

Identify and perform appropriate repairs to resolve equipment performance issues.

Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems involving networks, PC logic controls, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and external Input/Output (I/O) devices.

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and control components including photo eyes, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachometers, and encoders.

Document technical repair methods and assist in developing technical training materials and troubleshooting guides.

Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.

Observe and enforce all safety policies and procedures; ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials.

Oversee and coordinate work performed by outside contractors.

Develop and implement training plans for maintenance and service technicians.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Essential Skills

Ability to troubleshoot ladder logic, CPU backplanes, I/O boards, counters, modules, devices, and Ethernet communication modules.

Strong understanding of electrical schematics and proficiency with diagnostic instruments.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to train and support others.

Strong multitasking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required; technical or mechanical training/certifications preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, electronics, or automated conveyor system maintenance.

Strong knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).

Valid driver's license required.

Ability to safely operate power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks, and overhead cranes.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach with hands and arms. The employee may also be required to sit, climb, or balance.

Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.

Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vehicles, and varying temperatures, including extreme heat and cold in outdoor conditions.
