Qualifications and Skills:
4+ Years of experience as a Service Technician
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an HVAC vocational or technical training program is .
Relevant HVAC certifications (e.g., EPA 608 certification for handling refrigerants).
Strong mechanical and technical skills.
Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and plumbing.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license (for field service positions).
Compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance: Regular maintenance is crucial to keep HVAC systems running smoothly. Technicians perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and component replacement to prevent breakdowns and maintain optimal efficiency.
Repair: HVAC Technicians diagnose and repair malfunctions in heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. They troubleshoot issues, identify faulty components, and replace or repair them as necessary. This can involve fixing leaks, replacing motors, repairing electrical connections, and more.
