Overview GovCIO is actively seeking a talented Solutions Architect to create and implement pioneering solutions and architectures. This role will be remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to innovation. Responsibilities As an experienced Solutions Architect, you will design and deliver cutting-edge solutions for federal cyber operations, cybersecurity, IT, software development, data analytics, and AI initiatives. Your strategic thinking will be key in understanding customer missions while leveraging your technical expertise to craft architectures that are effective, compliant, and competitive. Your role involves bridging customer outcomes and technical execution, defining solutions that clearly articulate their value and benefits. Collaborate closely with Business Development, Capture Managers, and Proposal Teams to shape pursuits and develop winning strategies that ensure compliant and compelling proposals. Solution Development (Mission-Focused) Define innovative solutions that meet customer mission needs across various domains including cyber operations, cybersecurity, IT, software, data analytics, and AI. Craft compelling solution narratives that focus on outcomes, benefits, and alignment with customer goals. Translate technical capabilities into customer-friendly themes and value propositions. Map solutions to customer priorities to ensure they resonate well with evaluators. Architecture Design (Technical-Focused) Develop comprehensive architectures (system, enterprise, data, cloud, cyber) that implement proposed solutions. Create diagrams and models that meet DoD and federal standards. Perform technology trade-off analyses and risk assessments. Staffing & Execution Planning Develop staffing plans and work breakdown structures to ensure solutions are feasible and compliant. Align staffing models with technical architectures, ensuring the right skills are utilized. Collaborate with pricing and program management teams to balance technical solutions and cost competitiveness. Capture & Proposal Support Partner with BD and Capture Managers to craft solution strategies effectively. Lead workshops with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define technical architectures. Develop proposal artifacts, including technical volumes and architecture diagrams. Customer Engagement & Communication Directly engage with federal and DoD customers to understand their mission requirements. Present solution concepts and architectures to customer stakeholders. Translate complex technical information into clear narratives for diverse audiences. Team Leadership & Collaboration Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating inputs from engineers, developers, and data scientists. Mentor team members on aligning technical contributions with proposal strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience. Experience in cyber operations, cybersecurity, IT, software development, data analytics, or AI. Proven ability to develop solutions for cloud-based and on-premises environments. Familiarity with federal and DoD acquisition processes.
