Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) - $2,850 per week in Charleston, SC

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: South Carolina RN License preferred Certifications: ARRT (R), SCQRSA, BLS Must-Have: Must be willing to be on-call, radiation badge required Description: Position available for an Interventional Radiology Tech in a teaching hospital. Daily shift from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with four 10-hour shifts and a rotating day off. An occasional week may require a shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. The daily caseload per tech is 5-8 cases. On-call responsibilities include one weeknight every other week, and 1-2 weekends within the contract. Floating between service lines is not required. Required cases include vascular access, embolization, dialysis work, and PE thrombectomy. Preferred cases include Y90 implants and chemo embolization. First-time travelers are accepted. A radiation badge must be provided by the agency. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Candidates with a pending South Carolina license will be considered if proof of application is provided. All requested time off must be included at the time of submission. Travelers with 7 days or less of non-holiday requested time off will have a faster processing time. This position does not accommodate block schedules.
