Lead Maintenance Technician
to join our team at our Akron, OH facility. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong electrical and mechanical background who is ready to lead, troubleshoot, and ensure equipment and systems operate at peak performance.
Job title: Lead Maintenance Technician Location: Akron, OH Shift: 2 nd (Tuesday through Saturday 2 pm to 10:15 pm ) Salary: up to $35 an hour based on experience DIRECT HIRE Opportunity
Job duties
Work with 480 vac 3-phase and lower voltages. Reworking and installation of electrical wiring for equipment, per NEC guidelines. Troubleshoot and replace faulty electrical components such as relays, fuses, power supplies, switches, motors and position sensing devices, machinery controls, etc. Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process and quality system Identify equipment concerns relating to the product, process and quality system Troubleshoot industrial machinery, PLC's, and drives Basic welding and fabrication Performs routine preventative maintenance and ensures that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently. Diagnosing and maintaining mechanical systems, equipment and electrical controls is essential. Follows company safety & quality policies and procedures. Repairs on mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment Provide guidance and direction with maintenance associates Utilize CMMS for PM's & work orders Other duties as needed
Requirements
Minimum of 8 years industrial maintenance experience. Electrical & mechanical background Leadership background in maintenance field Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to the product, process and quality system Identify equipment concerns relating to the product, process and quality system Troubleshoot industrial machinery, PLC's, and drives Basic welding and fabrication High School or GED Trade School or associate degree, or relevant electrical experience
