Class A CDL Driver (Hazmat)
to join our team. This essential role involves operating a variety of heavy and light-duty trucks, including vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs, primarily at our customer sites. As a driver, you'll play a critical role in hazardous waste cleanup, fulfilling both driving and non-driving responsibilities. About Clean Harbors:

Key Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by following all safe work practices, policies, and procedures. Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers in a team-oriented environment. Safely load and unload trucks. Perform manual labor to meet customer needs effectively. Ensure proper placarding of vehicles per Company and DOT regulations. Maintain daily logs, time sheets, and various reports accurately. Adhere to all local, state, and federal compliance regulations. Safely operate vehicles according to U.S. DOT guidelines. Follow corporate operational guidelines and environmental health and safety protocols. Other duties as assigned, including being on call for emergency response on a rotating basis every other week. Participate in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and the handling of hazardous materials. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL. Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment. Proficient in using various mobile devices. Physical capability to perform job responsibilities. Ability to pass a background check, drug test, and physical exam. Compliance with OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, including facial hair standards. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a commercial driver. Possession of Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Previous experience in handling hazardous materials.
