HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel MRI Technologist for a travel job in Columbia, South Carolina. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 11/23/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Title: MRI Technologist - Radiology / Cardiology Location: Columbia SC 29203 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) - Friday, Saturday, Sunday Job Responsibilities: Perform MRI scans for adult and pediatric patients, including neonates, stroke, trauma, and specialty cases. Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment (1.5T and 3T) and perform advanced imaging procedures. Prepare and/or administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed. Ensure accurate image post-processing including MIP, MRP, ADC mapping, and perfusion studies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory, radiology, and rapid response services. Maintain proper documentation in EPIC or preferred charting systems. Provide patient care across multiple settings: inpatient, outpatient, ICU, ER/Trauma, NICU/PICU. Follow hospital protocols and safety standards for all MRI procedures. Required Skills & Experience: ARRT-certified Radiologic Technologist (MR and R) and BLS certified. Minimum 1 year of MRI experience; prior pediatric hospital experience preferred. Strong skills in imaging abdomen, pelvis, brain, spine, chest, and musculoskeletal regions. Experience with advanced imaging techniques including CINE, diffusion, spectroscopy, and peripheral MRA. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Comfortable working with patients of all age groups, including pediatrics and neonates. Ability to float to other units as needed per Prisma Health requirements.
