Travel Mammography Technologist Job Details Assignment Length: 13 weeks (December 1, 2025 - February 28, 2026) Location: Atlanta, GA 30342 - Georgia healthcare travel job Facility: Women's Imaging Center Shift: 8-hour days, Monday-Friday (9:30 AM - 6:00 PM) Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Employment Type: Travel Radiologic Technologist Holiday Coverage: Must be available to work 1 major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) Estimated Weekly Salary: $2270 - $2330 Mammography Technologist Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist in mammography Current ARRT (M) certification required BLS certification required Proficiency in stereotactic biopsy and/or mammography quality control (QC) procedures Experience performing all mammography studies, including needle localization and ductograms Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Travel candidates must not reside within 50 miles of Atlanta, GA Key Responsibilities for Mammography Tech Travel Jobs Perform high-quality mammography imaging procedures, prioritizing patient safety and comfort Conduct stereotactic biopsies, needle localization, and ductogram procedures as needed Maintain and perform quality control checks on mammography equipment Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the electronic medical record (EMR) Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care Educate and support patients throughout mammography procedures Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards in a clinical setting Apply now to join our Atlanta healthcare team as a Travel Mammography Technologist and make a difference in women's health!
