This key position encompasses three primary responsibilities: overseeing credit culture and decision-making, designing and evaluating tax credit allocations and investments, and leading enterprise risk management initiatives. As a pivotal member of our team, the successful candidate will ensure that our risk management practices consistently align with our mission to foster inclusive access to capital. You will lead a dedicated team in managing credit, tax credit, and enterprise risks. To be successful in this role, you should possess a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in the finance industry, with a strong preference for candidates with CDFI or community development financial institution backgrounds. A Bachelor's degree is required, while an advanced financial management degree is preferred. We seek a candidate with a proven record of executive leadership, proficiency in designing innovative credit programs, and expertise in risk management within a regulated financial setting. Strong analytical, credit, and risk management skills are essential, along with the ability to balance risk considerations with the organization's impactful goals.
