Aircraft Composite Technician
Job Summary: The Composite Technician is responsible for the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of composite materials used in the construction and restoration of aircraft. This role involves working with high-performance composite materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, and epoxy resins to ensure the integrity and safety of the aircraft. The technician must understand composite Client-up techniques, curing processes, and surface finishing, along with a strong focus on quality control and precision.
Qualifications:
Experience working with aircraft honeycomb composite materials highly preferred Inspect, sand, and finish composite surfaces to meet aesthetic and functional standards. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with company standards. Working knowledge of ceiling, grid, and other secondary aircraft structures. Working with pins, inserts, and hardware for aircraft cabinetry production.
