Manage a portfolio of assigned delinquent accounts Contact debtors through phone, email, and written correspondence to negotiate payment arrangements Document all collection activities, ensuring compliance with client standards and federal regulations Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing concerns Utilize skip tracing tools to locate debtors with outdated or missing contact information Experience You Will Need
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with professional communication Effective verbal and written communication, including active listening and empathy Ability to manage difficult conversations with professionalism and composure Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Reliable and able to work flexible day, evening, and weekend hours Basic computing skills High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in business preferred 0-1 years of experience in collections or customer service (financial/credit industry preferred) Proficiency with collections software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of debt collection laws and compliance requirements Must be able to obtain required collections license upon placement
