How you create impact

The Operational Care Center (OCC) Supervisor leads and coordinates a team of Operational Specialists, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service aligned with global and national sea logistics standards. As a subject matter expert in operational processes, the Supervisor drives team performance, enforces procedural compliance, and ensures adherence to established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Foster a high-performing team culture focused on quality and accountability.

Provide consistent guidance and support to team leads and members.

Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one discussions to promote motivation, collaboration, and results.

Oversee timecard management, including PTO tracking, corrections, and approvals.

Monitor productivity and performance, conduct evaluations with the Operations Manager, and initiate development plans as needed.

Collaborate with operations management to implement process changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure alignment on KPI reporting and other operational metrics.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Kuehne+Nagel QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, Environment, Security and Dangerous Goods) policies and GxP (Good Practices) compliance standards.

Partner with the Customer Care Location (CCL) to analyze customer KPIs and support corrective/preventative actions.

Act as a secondary point of contact for escalations, support inquiries, and loss file investigations.

Schedule and lead meetings with branch management to ensure operational transparency and alignment.

What we would like you to bring

2-4 years of sea freight experience

1-2 years of leadership experience

Strong customer service, decision making and organization skills

Ability to delegate and coordinate team appropriately
