Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing multi-axis CNC machinery. You'll play a critical role in minimizing downtime and ensuring our equipment operates at peak performance.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC machines and facility equipment
Respond promptly to breakdowns and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
Conduct repairs and calibrations on handheld and fixed equipment
Maintain facility infrastructure including fittings and fixtures
Manage spare parts inventory and place orders as needed
Coordinate with production teams to minimize disruption during repairs
Oversee and manage subcontractors on-site
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in CNC maintenance (multi-axis, metal-cutting machines preferred)
Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical (bearings, motors, belts), electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals
Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and safe work practices
Flexible availability for emergency call-outs
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Experience with machine alignments and upgrades
Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems is a plus
Physical Requirements
This role requires physical agility and strength, including:
Standing, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting
Accessing internal machine components for diagnostics and repairs
Use of manual and power tools, slings, and lifting equipment
