Job Title: Multi Skilled Technologist 1 Profession: Technologist Specialty: Agency Staff Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration Certifications: ARRT (R) (CT), BLS Must-Have: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program Description: The purpose of this position is to perform imaging examinations and procedures. Technologist will be responsible for performing both CT and X-ray. The shift time is from 7 PM to 7 AM, with a weekend rotation every third weekend. There is no on-call requirement for this position. The technologist must use two forms of identification to identify each patient. Review all physician orders for examinations ordered, along with clinical history and demographic information. Utilize the computer system to document patient information to ensure quality care. Assess patient conditions and ensure patient safety during procedures. Perform all imaging examinations and procedures, adhering to department policies and age-specific criteria. Identify anatomical orientation on all images and ensure proper imaging identification. Review each examination for technical accuracy. Coordinate radiographic examinations to ensure quality patient care and assist with departmental workflow. Organize patient care and set priorities, providing critical care first. Transport patients as required. Report all safety hazards to the leadership of the safety program. Establish and maintain good rapport and cooperative working relationships with all hospital contacts. Assist with orientation and training for new employees and students.
