Travel CT Tech - $2,632 per week in Columbia, MO

Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Scan Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years overall experience and 1 year in specialty required. License: Must hold a valid state license. Certifications: BLS, ARRT, CT Certification required. Must-Have: Level 1 trauma experience required. Description: This position requires 50% of holidays and on-call as needed. Weekends and floating may be required. Perform complex tasks associated with the operation of advanced imaging protocols such as CT Cardiac, Stroke perfusion, and Trauma. Assist with procedure protocols and performance for various patient acuity levels including ICU, Trauma, General Anesthesia, Sedation, and Inpatient care. Provide for the psychological and physical needs of patients during imaging. Evaluate images for technical quality, labeling them with the appropriate priority level for radiology reading. Maintain accurate patient records. Provide orientation for new technologists. Understand and use the image archival system. Provide education and training for student technologists. Assist with education and training of new physicians if applicable. Collaborate with radiologists and physicists in developing new protocols and techniques. Complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents. Floating among departments may be required during the contract period.
