Shipping Associate I

to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will package and ship hazardous materials according to strict company regulations. You will also be responsible for the receipt and proper distribution of incoming materials to ensure smooth operations. Additional duties will be assigned by the Shipping Lead or Supervisor. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the shipping of hazardous materials, including returns and receivables. Ensure daily shipments reach the Accounting department without delay. Confirm that all outgoing shipments are processed and compliant before leaving the facility. Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the receiving, stockroom, and packaging areas. Manage inventory of packaging and shipping supplies, ensuring proper storage. Record the disposition of incoming parts post-inspection. Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment such as engravers and label printers. Receive and process all incoming shipments efficiently. Coordinate with the inspection department for incoming parts and receipts. Utilize the ERP system to record incoming shipments and verify packing lists. Process nuclide receipts and inspections competently. Package all orders ensuring compliance with regulations. Requirements: Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience:

Minimum of one year in shipping, receiving, or packaging roles. Skills:

Basic mathematical proficiency. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication abilities. Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, and other carrier systems. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Capability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks effectively. Forklift certification is a plus.
