The Department of Pathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position for Associate Director of the Immunogenetics Laboratory. The successful candidate will hold an academic appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and medical staff appointments in The Johns Hopkins Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

The successful applicant will be expected to assist with the clinical, technical, educational, and administrative functions of the laboratory and to develop a clinical research program in collaboration with the other Immunogenetics faculty and Johns Hopkins transplant physicians and surgeons. The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine is a non-profit institution of higher learning located in Baltimore, Maryland. The Immunogenetics Laboratory provides clinical histocompatibility testing for large, innovative programs in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation, kidney, pancreas, liver, heart, lung, and composite tissue transplantation.

Applicants must have an MD or PhD degree and must be a fellow or eligible to be a fellow of the American College of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics (ACHI). Candidates must meet or be eligible to meet the CMS requirements for technical supervisor, clinical consultant, and laboratory director in histocompatibility.

Salary: $143,000 - $225,000
