Employment Opportunity: As an Unarmed Security Officer, you'll be part of a dedicated security team that supports critical facilities and infrastructure, public venues, and asset protection services. This position is vital to the specialized security services we offer to clients daily. Enforce company rules, provide assistance, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors. Act as a presence in public areas, greeting and directing visitors while monitoring parking for safety. Assist in maintaining security and order, reporting any violations or incidents to the contract manager. Conduct visual inspections of assigned areas to ensure property integrity and report any discrepancies. Control access through the company staff entrance and monitor alarm systems, maintaining logs and reports. Patrol the grounds for safety and security issues, handling locking and unlocking of doors as required. Respond quickly to emergency calls, rendering assistance and notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Investigation of incidents on the property, coordinating with authorities when necessary. Manage the operational aspects of the facility including lighting and security procedures. Ensure correct package inspections to prevent theft and contraband within the premises. Qualifications: Must be mentally alert and exhibit good judgment. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Proficient in monitoring environmental and electronic security systems. Requirements: Education & Experience: Must possess a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Licensing and Certifications: Valid California Driver's License or Identification Card required. Current First Aid and CPR certification required. Valid BSIS Guard Card required.
