As a Senior Solutions Delivery Architect, you will be pivotal in creating Low Level Design (LLD) documents and leveraging your technical expertise to support our Sales and Solution Architecture teams.
Responsibilities
Create detailed Low Level Design (LLD) documents to support project initiatives. Engage with potential and new clients to facilitate onboarding and migrations. Conduct end-to-end server builds and oversee client onboarding processes. Manage upgrades for DB2 on z/OS and associated Independent Software Vendor (ISV) products. Lead the transition of clients’ in-house IT systems to Ensono’s support, often managing multiple migrations simultaneously. Support and upgrade ISV software related to DB2. Monitor and test DB2 workloads following OS or CPU upgrades. Collaborate with clients to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Facilitate Knowledge Transfer sessions for new clients, sharing insights about their environments. Work within a team of mainframe professionals to ensure smooth transitions for new clients. Utilize your understanding of WLM concerning DB2; apply knowledge of DB2 Utilities, TSO, FTP, and SMP/E for installations. This is a project-focused role, not requiring 24x7 on-call availability. Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience in a z/OS environment, with familiarity in areas such as Operating Systems, Storage, Databases, CICS, and Disaster Recovery concepts. Proven technical implementation skills for DB2 on z/OS and related ISV software. Experience with SMP/E for base installation and maintenance for DB2. Ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively with ISV vendors. Familiarity with ISV products, including CA database tools, IBM database tools, Sysview, Omegamon, and Mainview. Strong meeting facilitation skills and proven self-motivation to manage multiple projects. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel for client-facing documentation. Act as the primary technical contact for mainframe databases for clients during transition phases. Experience supporting DB2 for z/OS from a Systems or DBA perspective is essential; experience with CICS or z/OS is an advantage. Knowledge in upgrading DB2 z/OS, DB2 Connect and Security exits, and DB2 data sharing in a SYSPLEX environment. Experience with IDAA and IMS/IMS upgrades is a plus. Why Ensono?

The current pay range for this role is $80,000 to $150,000 per year for a full-time schedule. Salary placement may vary based on skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs.
