JOB SUMMARY

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance service, and repair of semi-trailers.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

MAINTENANCE

Perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs Perform mechanical work including, but not limited to: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of packaging and production machines Is responsible for PM's of all plant equipment Conduct repairs of semi-trailers including, but not limited to: replacing brakes, floor boards, roof bows, and siding Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service SAFETY AND ADMINISTRATION

Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules Be responsible for safety, cleanliness, and organization of maintenance department Communicate with supervisor and other maintenance personnel Coordinate and administer company policies as they relate to the maintenance department Conduct tests and report items regarding insurance qualifications to meet safety regulations and standards Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings Establish personal goals and work relationships with fellow employees towards continuous improvement and teamwork QUALITY

Maintain and verify that all quality assurance measures are being followed and communicated to supervisors, production employees, truck drivers, office personnel, and customers Assist in the design and implementation of new procedures to maximize efficiency as needed PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Employee can be expected to be exposed to extremes in temperatures as well as work environment Expected to lift, pull, push, and carry weights in excess of 60 lbs. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, kneel, and squat for extended periods In a typical 8-hour shift, the employee can expect to spend about 50% of their time standing and walking to different areas in the plant, approximately 20% kneeling, and for the remainder of the time in various other positions, such as crouching or sitting Must have the ability to climb ladders, stairs, and scaffolds, as well as being comfortable working at various heights (including the tallest structures in the facility - approximately 100' high) QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of HS diploma or GED 2+ years of related experience in industrial maintenance OR Trade/technical school w/ electrical or mechanical focus Strong mechanical skills Welding/ cutting experience, preferred Strong organizational skills Ideal candidate should be capable of troubleshooting with the ability to repair mechanical, hydraulic systems in an industrial setting Semi-trailer repair - Brakes, floor boards, roof bows and side walls Previous electrical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. PLC programming and troubleshooting is preferred Mechanical and machinery background with exposure to high-speed equipment Drivers License REQUIRED COMPENSATION

$20.00-$30.00 per hour BENEFITS
