Pay Information $2,488 per week
About The Position Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Computed Tomography CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Hours per Shift: 8-hour day shift Experience: Minimum of 1 year as a registered radiology technologist, with CT tech experience required. License: Active state license with Fluoroscopy Certifications: AART required; Current state/district license required Must-Have: Must live 100 miles away. Must be able to start by the specified urgency date. 5 x 8 days; on-call may be needed. Knowledgeable with Philips, Toshiba, and Canon CT scanners. Associates Degree or equivalent required; completion of an approved Radiologic Technology program. Description: Operate Computed Tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment and processors. Analyze body habitus to correctly adjust technical factors. Position the body correctly. Review physician's orders and obtain pertinent clinical data. Consistently produce high-quality radiographs and reduce unnecessary radiation to patients and self. Assist physicians during procedures, including room preparation and managing supplies. Handle contrast reactions and codes. Ability to schedule and complete exams and enter correct charge codes.
