This position presents an exciting opportunity to oversee a broad spectrum of financial and compliance functions within the context of our forthcoming co-mingled fund. Your responsibilities will include ensuring precise financial reporting, managing accounting, payroll, and treasury operations, and preparing financial statements that comply with GAAP standards. Additionally, you will uphold rigorous regulatory compliance and enhance internal financial controls. In this role, you will manage financial audits and serve as the primary liaison with our third-party fund administrator and relevant regulatory bodies. The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a preference for candidates possessing CPA or CFA credentials. A minimum of 7 years of experience in private equity, asset management, or a related financial services environment is essential, along with a strong grasp of SEC regulations, RIA compliance, and accounting principles. Proficiency in financial reporting software and compliance management tools is crucial, as is the ability to develop, implement, and maintain robust compliance policies and procedures. Your role will encompass conducting regular compliance training, risk assessments, and managing avenues for resolving compliance-related findings effectively.
