Insight Global is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee their accounts payable department. Under general supervision, responsible for the oversight and supervision of the accounts payable (AP) unit that performs complex accounts payable duties and account reconciliations; develops and analyzes financial information and prepares a variety of related reports; and performs other related duties as required. The duties and responsibilities of the AP Manager include: Supervise AP team operations, including performance management and training Oversee invoice processing, payment disbursements, and account reconciliations Lead month-end and year-end AP close processes Manage vendor setup, 1099 reporting, and IRS compliance Approve payroll-related payables and expense claims Recommend and implement internal controls and process improvements Maintain records retention and assist with training materials Handle sales/use tax reporting, overpayments, refunds, and lease tracking Collaborate with internal departments and respond to audit requests formation and prepares a variety of related reports; and performs other related duties as required. Compensation: $57.90 - $70.36/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience 4+ years of professional Accounts Payable experience 1+ year of supervisory experience Experience with an ERP system Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint Strong understanding of AP processes, compliance, and internal controls Excellent communication and organizational skills

Experience with Tyler Munis ERP Background in government or public sector accounting
